Loose fit pyjama shirt cut from a stout weave madras check, handwoven in organic cotton. The yarns are naturally dyed using turmeric, madder, and indigo, with no synthetic chemicals. Developed by the Original Madras Trading Company, the cloth replicates an 1866 archive sample from the Textile Manufactures of India collection. Constructed with a pearl button placket, single chest pocket, rounded collar, and a straight hem with side slits. Garment washed, with natural variations in the handloom cloth as part of its character. The shirt is finished with hand sawn sleeve hem and hand sawn collar end.
